COMPANY024

At Memorial Dance Center we understand that some dancers love to dance and perform as a hobby, and others want to dance as a career. We strive to provide a welcoming environment where young dancers can explore their interest in the art of dance. For those dancers that are looking to dance year round, be both physically and artistically challenged, and perform more often we offer our competitive program, COMPANY024.

The MDC Competitive Program, COMPANY024, consists of dancers 6 years of age and older looking to take their training to the next level. Our goal is to produce well-rounded, strong, passionate, respectful, confident dancers and young adults. All dancers are required to study ballet, tap, and jazz, with the opportunity to also study contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, and musical theater. COMPANY024 dancers will compete 2 to 6 group dances per year. Dancers train between 3 to 11 hours per week, attend 2 to 6 competitions per season, and perform in our annual recital.

All program placements are determined by an audition process and are based on age, technical ability, level of interest, work ethic, and attitude. It is an honor to be offered a spot on COMPANY024. Being a member of the COMPANY024 program is a year long commitment from both students and parents. To find out more information about our COMPANY024 program, please contact our office.

2025-2026 COMPANY024 Results

Congratulations to all of our 2025-2026 COMPANY024 members! We have 11 teams total, including our Mini Team. These placements are TENTATIVE. If your dancer is unhappy with their placement, we strongly encourage them to work hard over the summer as all dancers will continue to be evaluated. Amber and Nicole will not be scheduling any meetings to answer questions until after final team placements have been announced in August. Conversations regarding placement will only be held in person. MDC Staff will not be available by phone, text, or email on Sunday, June 1st.

Listed below are the tentative COMPANY024 Teams, their class schedule, tuition fees, required convention/competitions, and ballet attire. All gray leotards and ballet skirts must be pre-ordered through the Memorial Dancewear website by Friday, June 6^th. As these are custom ordered, all Company leotards and skirts are final sale. Samples are available at Memorial Dancewear if you wish to confirm your dancer’s size prior to ordering. Capezio canvas/leather ballet shoes and Capezio tap shoes must be purchased from Memorial Dancewear. Please wait to sew ribbons on any new pointe shoes until after they have been approved by Mrs. Carla. Any dancer that takes two (2) ballet classes will be required to wear the gray leotard on the assigned day and may wear any leotard and skirt for their additional ballet class. Room assignments will be given in August when the final teams are announced.

Please come into Memorial Dancewear to be fitted for a new warm-up by this Thursday, June 5^th. The sizing schedule is listed below. Warm-up fees of $240, plus tax, will be due at this time. Mini Company dancers will not order warm-ups.

Our summer studio office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-4pm.

Our choreography workshop schedule will be finalized by the end of June. Please watch for an email. If you are aware of any date conflicts during workshop, please email the studio by Friday, June 6^th.

All Specialty Routine Request Forms are due Monday, June 2^nd, by 4pm.

Competition Dates: An updated calendar with all final competition dates and production rehearsals will be sent with the summer newsletter at the end of June.

**As a reminder, production is mandatory for all dancers placed on a team dancing three days a week.**
